Farm trip

We have enjoyed learning about plants and animals this year.  Today we got to see an "up close" look at the plants and animals at Open Gate farm! Collecting eggs, holding chicks, playing with some pigs and having a snack of "just picked" carrots were just a few of the activities that we were able to do! Thank you to Farmer Tom for letting us come and visit.  Thank you parents for coming along!

Strawberry Patch field trip

The sun finally came out and we had a perfect day for our trip to the Strawberry Patch. We learned that there are over 200 seeds on the outside of strawberry and it take a strawberry 26 hours in the sun to ripen.  The berries were big and delicious! Thank you to all the parents that came along to join us!
