Map Fun

We are really enjoying looking at maps!  Key vocabulary for this unit are left, right, behind, above and below.  To help learn this vocabulary we put them together in a song.  It was the students idea to add some motions! 

Music and Art Performance

The kindergarten put together several songs and poems that represented the year in kindergarten.  We started with songs leaned in the beginning of the year and continued with songs and poems that we learned to support our curriculum.  The Penguins loved Freedom and Make New Friends.  I think our Mr. Sun song worked its magic today when we finally saw some sun!
