George Washington

We had a lot of fun learning about George Washington and this little craft was a great way to show off what we had learned!

Skype

We enjoyed having the opportunity to Skype with a scientist.  We asked her questions about the tools she used and the experiments she is working on.  This was a great way to jump start our unit on matter. We will set up some experiments and let her know what we are working on!

Guest Reader

We really enjoyed having Ms. Howard come in to read to us!  She shared Ron's Big Mission.  We loved the book and we loved Ms. Howard!

February activities

The month of February brings lots of fun times.  We read lots of good books.  We worked on a penguin math project.  Check out the bulletin board in the hall  to see the finished projects.  We had a Valentine celebrations where we also celebrated earning 81 hearts for acts of kindness.  In math we are looking at different ways to make numbers.  The snow days have meant indoor recess giving us time to create some interesting things!
