STEM activity

This week we took a look at different versions of "The Mitten".  This is a fun story about animals finding warm space in a mitten or glove, depending on the version.  Our STEM activity today was for us to design and create a mitten that would not disappear in the snow.  Here is what our room looked like as the students went to work.

Feeding the Animals

December had us learning about what animals do to get ready for winter.  While some animals migrate or hibernate, others stay active.  We decided to take some time to make sure those animals had something good to eat!  Thank you to everyone that came in to help us out!
