Working Hard!

This has been a very busy week.  We began our handwriting lessons.  We talked about good posture and pencil grips.  We are working on building our reading muscles. We read together as a class and students were able to "read to self" for 5 1/2 minutes!  We learned a new math game called, "roll and record" and created some interesting designs with our pattern blocks. We are enjoying getting to know one another, sharing our mystery letter bags, and our stories.   Of course we did find time to have a little fun.  Everyone enjoyed trying to keep his/her egg from falling on the ice!

New Playground!

This has been a very busy week!  First our new playground is finished!  We are so thankful to the committee that chose the new playground equipment, the county for purchasing the equipment and the workers that put the playground together.  We are definitely enjoying it!
