Friday Fun

This group loves Friday afternoon projects.  This week we worked on making a map key for rooms in our building.  Here we are placing the symbols on our building map.  

Field Day

Thank you to all the parents that came to help out at field day today!  We had a great time!

Animal Projects

We had a lot of fun reading non-fiction books.  We learned how good readers keep track of their learning and we began marking our new learning and things we were wondering about.  We wrote our own non-fiction book about an animal. We created a habitat for the animal and made a clay animal. We shared our projects with one another.

Strawberry Patch

On Monday we had a wonderful trip to the strawberry patch.  First we had a lesson about strawberries and how to pick them. Then we rode on the tractor out to the field. We spent a lot of time looking for just the right berries.  We then had a fun picnic lunch.
