We also learned that we are part of a bigger community, our country. We learned that the flag (Star Spangled Banner, Old Glory, Stars and Stripes) is a symbol for our country. We wanted to make a symbol for our learning community! We learned that some communities and families created totem poles to tell their community/family story. We decided to make a totem pole to tell our learning community's story. |
