Penguin Projects

After talking about flower, butterfly and frog life cycles, the penguins teamed up to create  "lifecycle projects".  The projects would show what they knew about life cycles.   This was a pretty powerful experience!  The groups worked together to create their projects. They then presented their projects to the rest of the class.

Some got started right away. 

Some used Rock, Paper, Scissors  to decide what to do. 

Each group choose their own materials. 

Some needed help getting started.

Each group made sure everyone's ideas were heard.

Some showed others great ways to connect the manilas. 

Some were willing to let others in the group keep the project. 

Everyone was excited about the project.

They figured out ways to share the materials. 

The groups presented their projects to the rest of the class. 

Everyone felt like an expert!

Sometimes others added great ideas!

Everyone was proud of what they did!
